Julie B. Fortenberry

Julie joined ENT Associates of Alabama in October of 2007 and worked at our St. Vincent’s Birmingham location. She currently works in our Cullman Regional Medical Center location. Julie graduated from Auburn University in 1999 with her Master of Communication Disorders in Audiology. She received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from Auburn University in 1997. She worked in Georgia and Illinois in various clinical settings before coming back home to the Birmingham area. She has a passion for serving her patients’ needs and helping them achieve their optimal hearing and balance goals whether they are newborn or 102. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (F-AAA) and a member of the Speech and Hearing Association of Alabama (SHAA). She lives with her husband, two children, and many pets in the Blount County, Alabama area where she volunteers with various community organizations and is active in her church.
